In Action is Profound Treatment’s answer to one of the most baffling questions in the recovery process: How do we help our clients reintegrate into everyday life with their newfound coping mechanisms in a safe and supported way? In Action is a strong, step down program that is centered in each client’s community. That is to say, when our clients are ready for less intensive outpatient treatment, In Action offers a structured and clinically supervised reintegration into everyday life.
In Action incorporates:
- Sober monitoring
- Real-time support in high trigger environments
- Career counseling
- Educational counseling
- Ongoing therapy
Profound Treatment’s In Action is a one of a kind program that has the ability to help keep structure and accountability in place during less formally structured phases of the recovery process. The In Action Program is available to any client that has participated in Profound Treatment’s Outpatient of Dual Diagnosis programs.
Profound Treatment Program is keenly aware that many individuals struggling with substance abuse also have a co-occurring or primary disorder. The dual diagnosis tract at Profound Treatment’s Outpatient Program is dedicated to those individuals who suffer from more than one diagnosis. Unfortunately, the cycle of addiction and mental illness becomes very challenging to escape because the symptoms and causes are often confused between the separate disorders, and without treating both simultaneously, recidivism of one or the other becomes a real and frequent possibility.
These are some of the co-occurring disorders that we treat:
- Anxiety disorder
- Bipolar disorder
- Personality disorders
- Panic disorder
At Profound, we employ a multidisciplinary approach to the treatment of substance abuse and dual diagnoses. Our clients receive direct treatment for each of their issues and root causes. Separating the diagnoses, and treating independently and simultaneously relieves the system of old coping mechanisms and allows for more full and sustainable long-term recovery.
Profound Treatment Program is keenly aware of the need for comfort, accountability and support throughout the recovery process. Our supportive housing known as Profound Living offers clients a safe and secure living environment so they can focus on the healing and work necessary to build a life in recovery. Whether a client is struggling with substance abuse disorder, a mental health issue, or both, Profound Living offers structure and community for those in need.
Profound Living includes:
- On-site staff
- In-house meetings

“I can’t say enough good things about my time at Profound Treatment. I’ve been through other programs but none of them took as much time to get to know me and learn about what I needed. It felt like they made the treatment program just for me.”
“The family coaching program at Profound Treatment has changed our lives in more ways than I could have imagined. Before it felt like we couldn’t even talk to one another and now we are all speaking the same language. We still talk to our family therapist once a week and are so grateful to have her in our lives.”
