Trevis Smith, C.A.T.C., is the Founder of Profound Treatment. He has worked variously as a detox counselor, case manager and sober companion since entering the field of addiction treatment in 2006. Trevis is a clinically trained interventionist, and particularly adept at coordinating care for both addiction and co-occurring disorders. Trevis has a reputation for being one of the regions premier pioneers in private treatment founding what is now considered one of the most prominent addiction treatment programs in the United States.

Often cited by clients and families alike to be one of the most inspiring individuals on the team, Trevis brings an incredible personal story of triumph over adversity which he draws upon to help clients realize that no situation is insurmountable. His strength lies in his broad proficiencies in assisting clients to set objectives which allow them to advance towards healthy living, recovery, and healing. Family members frequently convey that his motivational and caring approach, along with the client’s hard work, accomplishes in a short time what their loved one has sought to achieve for years.

Christopher Interdonato

Director of Operations

Christopher Interdonato, RADT, is the Director of Operations of Profound Treatment. He has previously earned a degree in engineering, but found his true calling in helping other addicts get sober through his own personal experience of being in recovery. Christopher interned at the Los Angeles LGBT Center as a substance abuse counselor, where he facilitated groups for their evening outpatient program. By maintaining an active role in the sober community, Christopher is able to incorporate his knowledge of recovery programs and service organizations into his work with clients. Christopher is also a certified yoga instructor and on the planning committee for several recovery-related conferences and retreats, such as CMALA and the Conscious Contact Retreat.

Michael D'Angelo

Director of Admissions

Michael D’Angelo is the Director of Admissions of Profound Treatment. Michael has worked in the addiction field for over three years and brings to the team extensive knowledge of admissions criteria and is well connected within the recovery community. Michael has a strong passion for helping those suffering from addiction and co-occurring disorders. Michael never hesitates to set time aside to speak with clients and get to know them so that he can better assist in their personal growth and recovery.

Natasha McCool, LMFT

Primary Therapist

Natasha McCool is an experienced Licensed Marriage And Family Therapist with a demonstrated history of working in the mental health care and drug and alcohol treatment industries. Natasha earned her graduate degree in Counseling Psychology from National University. She is skilled in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing techniques, Group Therapy, Crisis Intervention, and Family Therapy. Natasha currently specializes in dealing with substance abuse disorders with a diverse client population. Previously, Natasha served as an Adjunct Faculty at Santa Monica College in the Counseling Department, where she handled all aspect of student instruction. Prior to that work, she served as Program Director for Youth Substance Abuse Programs at Didi Hirsch Mental Health Services, where she also served as Program Coordinator in the same division, as well as Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor. Earlier in her career, she was Program Coordinator/Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor at Genesis Substance Abuse Services.
