Trevis Smith, C.A.T.C., is the Founder of Profound Treatment. He has worked variously as a detox counselor, case manager and sober companion since entering the field of addiction treatment in 2006. Trevis is a clinically trained interventionist, and particularly adept at coordinating care for both addiction and co-occurring disorders. Trevis has a reputation for being one of the regions premier pioneers in private treatment founding what is now considered one of the most prominent addiction treatment programs in the United States.

Often cited by clients and families alike to be one of the most inspiring individuals on the team, Trevis brings an incredible personal story of triumph over adversity which he draws upon to help clients realize that no situation is insurmountable. His strength lies in his broad proficiencies in assisting clients to set objectives which allow them to advance towards healthy living, recovery, and healing. Family members frequently convey that his motivational and caring approach, along with the client’s hard work, accomplishes in a short time what their loved one has sought to achieve for years.

Larry Hymes, LMFT

Clinical Director

Larry Hymes has been practicing as a licensed psychotherapist in the world of addiction for the past 10 years. Areas of expertise include DBT, CBT, Motivational Interviewing, and Trauma Informed care. Larry’s approach is affirming, non-judgemental, and strengths focused. Past experience includes Los Angeles Gay & Lesbian Center, Michael’s House, and Breathe Life Healing Center.

Christopher Interdonato

Clinical Manager

Christopher Interdonato, RADT, is the Clinical Manager of Profound Treatment. He has previously earned a degree in engineering, but found his true calling in helping other addicts get sober through his own personal experience of being in recovery. Christopher is CCAPP registered and currently completing his coursework to fulfill the requirements for his CADC-I credential. By maintaining an active role in the sober community, Christopher is able to incorporate his knowledge of recovery programs and service organizations into his work with clients. Christopher’s motto is to help every client self-actualize and become the best version of themselves they can be.

Amber Glavor LMFT

Primary therapist

Amber graduated from Antioch University Los Angeles and is currently a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Amber utilizes a unique approach that incorporates a variety of therapeutic principles and philosophies in order to create the ideal treatment plan to meet the needs of each individual. Whether exploring the past or focusing on the present, we can develop a deeper sense of meaning, purpose and self-realization. Amber practices from a strength-based approach promoting each individual’s own unique set of strengths and capabilities as well as empowering those to embrace their own experiential growth and healing.
