Partial hospitalization program (PHP)

Profound’s partial hospitalization program (PHP) in Los Angeles offers clients the ability to receive drug and alcohol treatment during the day and return to their homes at night. For this reason, PHP is often referred to as day treatment.

PHP clients generally receive clinical interaction 3-5 times a week for 4-6 hours per day at designated times that suit their lifestyle. This flexibility allows clients to continue working or going to school while living at home or at one of our sober living residences.

Most clients complete our residential detox program before stepping down to a lower level of care like PHP.
