Who We Help and How We Can Support Your Recovery
At Profound Treatment, we support the well-being of our clients, from working professionals to members of the LGBTQIA+ community. We believe in providing treatment programs rooted in inclusive and supportive evidence-based care. With integrated evidence-based treatment programs, you can find support to address your or a loved one’s specific experiences and needs.
Whether you or a loved one is facing challenges with drug or alcohol addiction, mental health conditions, or co-occurring disorders, there is a treatment plan for you. Some of the benefits of our integrated behavioral health treatment programs include access to a level of care that meets you where you are. With different levels of care, you can enter treatment with the appropriate services for your specific challenges, needs, and circumstances.
Yet, what does entering treatment at a particular level of care really mean? While symptoms can vary, substance abuse and mental health disorders can be categorized as mild, moderate, or severe. Thus, the needs of a client with mild substance abuse will be different from those of a client with severe substance abuse.
Some of the levels of care you can find with integrated treatment services include:
- Detoxification
- Residential programs
- Partial hospitalization program (PHP)
- Intensive outpatient program (IOP)
- Outpatient treatment
- Aftercare services
- On-site and telehealth services
- Evidence-based therapies
- Holistic modalities
Your level of care supports individualized treatment to incorporate different evidence-based therapies and holistic modalities. At Profound Treatment, we specialize in residential programs to address drug and alcohol addiction, mental health issues, and dual diagnosis.
Who Can Benefit From Residential Treatment?
Residential programs are beneficial for clients with severe substance abuse and/or chronic or severe mental health disorders. Additionally, residential programs are a good fit for unhoused clients or those experiencing difficulties with family members at home. You may also find a residential program beneficial if you have tried a lower level of care, like IOP, and relapsed or felt like you needed more support.

Historically, men have been the primary clients at addiction treatment facilities because of their higher prevalence of substance use disorders (SUDs). Thus, most treatment facilities and treatment programs were designed for the specific experiences of men. Moreover, because of barriers like stigma, discrimination, and criminalization, treatment services were designed around the heterosexual, cisgender, and often White male experience.
As a result, for decades, vulnerable groups like cisgender women, people of color, transgender men and women, and other members of the LGBTQIA+ community have not received quality care. People with diverse backgrounds and identities have been forced into one-size-fits-all treatment programs that do not or cannot account for the impact of their specific experiences and unique needs. At Profound Treatment, we are committed to being leaders in inclusive addiction treatment and mental health care.
